Most people know me as Fletch or (Josh-my first name)
Last name’s Fletcher—somewhere along the way, people just started calling me Fletch. It stuck. That’s where the name comes from.

I’ve been behind the camera for 25+ years professionally. My Dad got me into it when I was 13. Never made much noise about it… just kept showing up and doing the work and life, people and places took me on a journey.

That road’s taken me around—published in 17+ countries, work with National Geographic, People, the Wall Street Journal. Grateful for it, but it’s never really been about the names. Those are short lived and purpose goes a lot deeper for me.

Spent part of my younger years living in Europe and Africa. That time stuck with me. Different cultures, different ways of seeing the world—it gave me a respect for people and their stories that still drives everything I do.

I’ve always leaned toward creating. Building something out of nothing. Whether it’s a shoot, a project, or just chasing good light somewhere off the map. I’m at home outside—desert roads, ocean air, places that don’t feel overworked.

Easy going by nature. Laid back. But there’s always been a drive under it. I don’t sit still long.

People have always been the center of it. Everyone’s got a story. I just try to tell it straight.

These days, I’ve got more of a pull to pass things on—share what I’ve learned, help younger people find their way a little quicker than I did. There’s value in that.

Life’s changed me along the way. Been through a divorce. Not something I hide—it shaped me, made me better, more aware of what matters. If you are hitting rock bottom, don’t give up just be real with yourself and allow failure to be a part of life.

Still believe in love. Inspired by those who find it and who trust me to capture it.

I’m getting older, but I want to do it well. Stay sharp, stay present, keep growing.

Hawai‘i’s home. It keeps things grounded.

Wins, mistakes… all part of it. Still learning.

At the end of the day, I’m just trying to do honest work, treat people right, and do my best to not waste the time I get.

We look back at moments and people we spent them with. That’s why I do what I do.
